Children's Half-Term party

19th Oct 2007

Les from the Wheatsheaf kindly organised a party for ALL the children who attend the school, parent's and teachers were welcome too .. if they behaved!.

Fun, games and food

On the last day of term parent's rushed into school at 3pm with party clothes to get the kids ready for a well-deserved party that Les had so kindly decided to throw in their honour.

Everyone was excited as we went straight to the party from school to find a disco with party games (the ruthless judges were not ruthless enough) and food and drink available.

Parents, grandparents, carers, staff, governors and supporters of our campaign were also welcome and the pub was packed with smiling faces all round.

A raffle was held to raise money for the campaign, with various excellent prizes on offer, and I heard a few of the Mam's fighting over who was going to win the beauty treatments that were on offer!

Once again, the kids did us proud by behaving excellently, and there was a lovely moment at the end of the party when they thanked less for throing such a great party for them.

I think the government are mad this sounds like such a wonderful school. My heart and prayers go out to the pupils, teachers and parents who are involved in this school. Keep up the fught you have plenty of support!
